All change and transitions have an ending and a beginning. The problem is we get our endings and beginnings in the wrong order. We also forget about the transition time between the ending and beginning. The longer we fail to deal with the transition period and continue to mix-up the ending and beginning, the longer we continue to struggle. Once we understand the dynamic involved in change and transition, we can complete our Life Transitions and move From Glory to Glory.

Just finished Carl's book. He stressed meeting old friends, the road it takes to get to God, is very important. The chapter 'Rubicon' speaks, to me, about a risky life then crossing back to the good way of life. I think most people have done things in their life that at one time or other were not the person they wanted to be. And crossing goes back to times of before we messed up. Or crossing means making better judgements and doing better things. Then the last chapter... Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior...I am always telling my friend Andrea that I just cant think of the right words for my prayers. And Carl has written words to help us commit ourselves to God. And to ask for help on our journey. Reading through this book as I did the first time did not really mean all that much to me. The book is simple but when we really study and apply, it really hits home. If you are a believer that is. I hope Carl writes another book, I like figuring myself and realizing how to fix my life.
