Life Plans

I recently received the following quote from Jim Rohn, 1930-2009, Author and Speaker.  You may recognize Jim as the thought leader who helped people the world over sculpt life strategies that expanded their imagination of what was possible.   He said, "If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much."
How is it we can allow someone else to so influence the direction of our lives?  Is it an underlying desire to please, a fear of confrontation, a perceived lack of ability to develop a plan, or is it just easier that way?  In the Bible, God addresses all of these issues and more, but in the end, addressed life plans through Jeremiah - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)  There is a plan!
It seems we think that God keeps His plans for us a big secret - that somehow He is waiting for us to drift around until we just happen to hit on the "right" thing.  However, God has already told us that He will reveal secrets.  Even King Nebuchadnezzar called God a "revealer of secrets".
"The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.”  Daniel 2:47  (NKJV)  There is a Revealer of Secrets!
It is time that we transition our lives to the plans that God has for us whether it is in business, ministry, government, or in whatever industry sector you operate.  It is time to make "on earth as it is in Heaven" a reality rather than just another good story or part of a recited prayer.  It is time to go to God, the "revealer of secrets", get a revelation of the life plans He has, and has always had, for you and start your life transition.
